When one enters the Kingdom, one becomes a child of God. He (or she) becomes a royal priest with access to God Himself. This life in God is nourished not by food but by prayer and the Word. Then Jesus talked about a lifestyle—the lifestyle of those who intend to live in the kingdom. This is my dream lifestyle.

This is why our desire is for Hope Church Singapore to be a place where people can explore not only what it means to be a Christ follower, but how to live in such a way that they experience a deeper awareness of God’s presence in their everyday lives. We want to offer a variety of opportunities to help people grow spiritually and genuinely experience the reality of life in the Kingdom.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:6: “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

In this age, before Jesus comes in power, the kingdom and the Father exist in ‘secret’. It is the quality of our ‘secret life’ with the Holy Spirit that determines our experience of the kingdom
