Hope Church donated SGD25,000 to the China Floods Relief Fund
through World Vision (S).

We also donated $25,000 to the China floods victims through World Vision (S). China has been hit by torrential rains and floods since the end of May this year, which continued until the first week of August, affecting at least 100 million people in 28 provinces. The Yangtze, Yellow and Songhua rivers have exceeded annual high levels. Some 8.06 million people have been forced to evacuate. Over 7 million hectares of farmland were also affected.

World Vision has started relief response to the floods since mid-June. Our fund will be used to provide quilts, rice, hygiene kits and shelter to flood-stricken families.
