ABCD GROW / PRAYER

In the busyness of life, it can be difficult to hear the gentle whisper of God’s voice. This silent retreat offers a space for rest, reflection, and renewal. Through the practice of silence, participants will be invited to draw closer to God and listen to Him speak.

Throughout the day, there will be guided prompts, Scriptural reflections, and extended time for prayer, journaling, and solitude. This silent retreat allows individuals to experience God’s presence at their own pace.

Whether you are seeking clarity, peace, or simply time away to be with the Lord, this is an opportunity to step away from the noise and reconnect with the One who restores our souls.

No prior experience with silent retreats is required. Participants are also encouraged to bring their Bible, a journal, and a heart open to the Holy Spirit’s leading.

This course is for any parent or carer of teenagers, a single parent or a step-parent. It is designed to empower parents to be the best parent they can be to children and teenagers aged 3 – 10, and 11 – 18 years.

Over three sessions, the course will help you to:

  • Build strong foundations
  • Meet your child or teenager’s needs
  • Set clear boundaries
  • Develop emotional health / teach healthy relationships
  • Keep the long term aim in mind
  • Help your teenager make good choices

While the foundations are based on Christian principles, it is also suitable for non-Christians as the course provides skills and methods on parenting but does not require the participant to know Scripture. Many non-Christian parents have benefited from the program and enjoyed the sessions.
