KIDS CAMPFERENCE

Parents, here are some helpful information to help you and your navigate the Kids Campference.

We are praying for each and every kid togrow in their knowledge and love for the Lord, and His word!

The theme for this year’s HopeKids Campference is “Deeper” – a call for our children to go deeper with God and discover more of who He is. We are believing for every child who attends, to have a deeper encounter with the Holy Spirit.  As such, we have prepared a 3-day prayer guide for you to prepare spiritually with your child so that they are ready for the Campference. Simply read the verse together, watch and listen to the video, and then pray the prayer points together. Videos can be found on @hopekidssg Instagram Page  Praise and Worship playlists for each age groups can also be found below. Be greatly blessed as you read the bible, pray, praise and worship together with your child!

To ensure safety and allow for full participation of activities, 4 – 12 years old children are to wear comfortable clothes (avoid dresses/skirts) and covered shoes.

Toilet Time

While there is designated toilet time in the programme for 4 – 12 years old children, we encourage parents to bring their children to the toilet before drop-off.

For Tots and children who are not toilet-trained yet, we require parents to change their diapers before drop-off. Should your child pass motion during Campference, HopeKids will inform the parent/guardian to come and change the child’s diapers.

Kids Tags and Parents Tags

Kids Tag and Parents Tag are required at all times for the drop-off and pick up of your child at the HopeKids Campference. 7 – 12 years old kids tags have an orange HopeKids logo while 18 months – 6 years old kids tags have a blue HopeKids logo.

Lost tags can be replaced at a fee at the registration counters located at B2 Central Foyer.

Drop-off

Drop-off starts 1 hour before the programme commences. To minimize congestion of queues, only 1 parent/adult will be allowed at drop-off.

We encourage you to drop your child off at least 30 minutes before the start of each session to allow your child time for familiarization of the environment and the leaders, which will help them settle down and be ready for the HopeKids Campference.

*Drop-off for Primary Children

Drop off venue for Primary children will be at a holding room located at the Gemini Function Rooms (Encounter Room) from 8.30 – 9.15am on both days of Campference. Drop-off will be outside Aquarius Functions Rooms (Primary Campference Room) from 9.15am onwards.

*Drop-off for Tots Children

To assist HopeKids in having a smooth and efficient drop-off, we seek the cooperation of Tots parents to do the following:

    1. Ensure that your child’s bag is tagged with the second parents tag provided
    2. Take off your child’s socks and shoes while queueing to be ready for the health check
    3. Help your child wear his/her socks and shoes after the health check
Preparation for drop-off

We understand that drop-off at a new environment can be challenging for both parents and child. Here are some suggestions on to prepare for drop-off at Campference:

  1. Point out familiar faces during Sunday services to your child so that your child can spot familiar faces during Campference
  2. Have conversations about the Campference at least 2 weeks before the Campference (show photos of the venue, talk about the schedule, what to expect, etc)
  3. Allow your child to bring a comfort item (preferably something small and non-distracting during the Campference)
  4. Assure your child, alot

Pick-up queues will be allocated based on the group colour your child is assigned to, indicated by your child’s lanyard colour and the sticker on your parents tag. To ensure a smooth and efficient pick-up, please queue according to the respective colours shown on the signages during HopeKids Campference. To minimize congestion of queues, only 1 parent/adult will be allowed at pick-up. Drop-off and pick-up for the respective age groups are:
