The second half of the book in Exodus 15-40 records how God established the important Mosaic Covenant with the people of Israel, elevating them to the status of being His “treasured possession… a kingdom of priests and a holy nation” (Exodus 19:5-6), and thereafter how God set them apart from all other people by having His Presence among them through the Tabernacle.
