Pleasures may abound, but joy can remain elusive. How can we find joy that remains regardless of our circumstances?

Recall some personal moments or experiences that taught you that life is short and can be fragile as well. Share these with one another. How does this perspective affect the way we live our lives?

Just like a gift box, our lives look attractive on the outside. But is the inside as good as what the outside promises?

In the story of the Magi who came to worship Jesus, we learn that the Magi were led supernaturally by a star from afar to the exact place where the promised Messiah could be found. And while they were presenting their precious gifts to Jesus, they were unaware that Jesus was God’s gift to the world.
1) After becoming a believer, it is easy to think that we have already found God and become complacent in our relationship with Him. However, God wants to have a thriving relationship with each and every one of us. Consider and evaluate your spiritual journey this year. What were some of the “stars” that God placed in your life to draw you nearer to Him? How have you grown in your walk with God this year?

2) During this Christmas season, it is important for us to remember the Wonderful Gift of God, Jesus Christ. In your own words, why is Jesus a wonderful gift? How can we help those we know come to experience this gift this Christmas? Share with your lifegroup who you would like to share the Gift of Christmas with.
