This course covers the various letters of Paul in the New Testament. It includes a study of the socio-historical background for each of the letters, outlines of their content, as well as their respective occasions and purposes. Special emphasis will be placed on the major theological themes of each letter. This course thus provides an important foundation for interpreting and understanding the New Testament Pauline letters and their significance for the Church today.
This course examines the biblical and theological foundations of prophetic ministries in both the Old Testament and New Testament eras. Historical development of prophetic ministries throughout church history will also be covered, with special emphasis on the distinct role of the prophetic ministries in the contemporary church.
