Parent-Child Dedication
(孩童奉献礼)
Children are a wonderful heritage and blessing from the Lord!
Psalm 127:3 says “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”
The purpose of a Parent-Child Dedication is a time specially for parents to present their children before God and the church, seeking His grace and wisdom to undertake their responsibilities to be godly parents who will commit to model what having a relationship with Jesus, following and loving Jesus looks like and to raise them in His ways and be rooted in a spiritual community.
孩童奉献礼的目的是为了让父母在上帝和教会面前献上他们的孩子，寻求上帝的恩典和智慧来承担做敬虔父母的责任。这些父母将致力于树立与耶稣建立关系、跟随耶稣，以及爱耶稣所爱的榜样，并按照祂的道路养育孩子们，让孩子们扎根于属灵的社群中
Parent Commitments
Because parents are the main spiritual role models and caregivers of their children, during the Parent-Child Dedication, parents will stand before God and the church, to make the following commitments:
- Commit to be the main spiritual caregivers of our children, raising them in the ways of the Lord, teaching and modelling God’s Word to them.
- Commit to discipline and correct our children with love, so that they can grow up within God’s safe boundaries defined by His Word.
- Commit to lead our children to know God’s love and, when they are ready, to personally acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
- Commit to partner with the church to raise our children to dedicate their lives, abilities and resources to fulfil the Great Commission.
父母承诺
- 承诺成为我们孩子主要的属灵照顾者，按照主的道路养育他们，教导他们并在他们面前活出上帝话语的榜样。
- 承诺以爱来管教和纠正我们的孩子，使他们在符合上帝话语的安全界限内成长。

Who can sign up for Parent-Child Dedication 2024? (谁可以报名2024年的孩童奉献礼)
- Parents must be both Christians
- At least one of the parents is a Hope Member
- Parents of Infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, and children under 12 years old are invited to sign up for this special Parent-Child dedication.
- All participating parents and child must have a registered conference ticket.

Is Dedication the same as Water Baptism? (孩童奉献礼是否与水洗礼相同?)
Hope Singapore believes that water baptism is for those who have made a personal decision to trust Jesus alone for their salvation, once they have the maturity and ability to understand what that means and publicity declare their faith. Parent–Child Dedication is a time specially for parents to present their children before God and the church, seeking His grace and wisdom to undertake their responsibilities to be godly parents.
新加坡希望教会认为，水洗礼是为那些已经做出个人决定，仅依靠耶稣来得着救赎的人准备的，前提是他们已经有理解这是什么意义的成熟度和能力，并且可以公开承认他们的信仰。孩童奉献礼是专为父母在上帝和教会面前献上他们的孩子，寻求祂的恩典和智慧来承担做敬虔父母责任的特别时刻.
What should I expect during a Parent-Child Dedication? (在孩童奉献礼期间我应该期待什么?)
During the ceremony, parent(s) publicly commit to help their child grow in their faith and to raise them in a home centered on Jesus. Our Pastor/ leaders will also pray over the families and a certificate will be presented to the parents.
在仪式的过程中，父母将公开承诺帮助他们的孩子在信仰中成长，并在一个以耶稣为中心的家中抚养他们。我们的牧师/领袖也将为每个家庭祷告，并向父母颁发证书。
