Who we are

The People-Helping ministry is a psychological consultation service made up of volunteers with psychology/ social work/ counselling qualifications to provide consultation and enable leaders to care for members in psychological need.

Starting January 2020, our church members may approach their Life Group leaders to raise a referral to the ministry through our members’ portal if they require support for their psychosocial challenges.

In case of crisis situations, members and leaders are encouraged to approach the following helplines and agencies for the necessary support:

  • Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) provides emotional support to those in crisis, thinking about suicide or affected by suicide: 1 767 (24 hours)
  • IMH’s Mental Health Helpline for members who are facing a mental health crisis: 6389 2222 (24-hours)
