Series: Focus 2026 Series 1
Title: Gideon – One Who Did Not Finish Well
Text: Judges 8:22-32

The first character we are focusing on is Gideon. Gideon started out fearful but by taking steps of faith, he fought against an army 120 000 Midianites and was victorious with 300 people. This is a clear testament of an only God moment. However, Gideon paid lip service to God but did not give Him the honour and glory. We can learn that pride resulting in self-reliance and idolatry showcasing a divided heart will detract us from ending well for God.
