Title: A Desire For Significance
Text: Psalm 92:12-15

Everyone desires to be significant – we want our lives to matter. No matter how young or old we are, we can make an impact.

Perspective Questions:

  1. A significant life is built on cultivating a right relationship with God, which leads to treating people right. Reflect on your walk with God – what are the challenges you face as you struggle to stay rooted in God?
  2. In Ps. 92:14, the righteous continue to “bear fruit in old age”. This seems to contradict the world’s idea that the older one gets, the harder it is to live a significant life. How do you think older believers can keep living fruitful, productive lives that honour God?

Application Questions:

  1. If you belong to the Caleb group (believers 45 years and above), what is one area that you are able to serve God in now that your younger self cannot? How do you think older believers can contribute to the church in unique ways that only they can with their wisdom and experience? What are some ministries that you can be involved in?
