Title: Global Missions Is For Everyone
Our church desires to fulfil the Great Commission and this includes bringing the Gospel to the nations. What are some of our core beliefs regarding global missions?
General Questions:
- What is global missions to you? How relevant is it to you in your current life station and why?
Perspective Questions:
- The Lausanne Covenant (1974) declared that “World evangelisation requires the whole Church to take the whole gospel to the whole world.” By extension, every member in every church should be missions minded. How does this challenge your view on global missions? Have we excluded ourselves from the work of world evangelisation for various reasons? Why?
- How have some believers re-defined or diluted missions according to their personal preference (e.g. community work)? What are the dangers in doing so?
Application Questions:
- The more we value the Gospel, the greater our desire will be to fulfil the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-2). No matter where you are at in your missions journey, what is a first or next step you can take to participate in God’s global mission?
- How do you think going for a Short Term Mission (STM) trip as a lifegroup will change or enrich the LG? If your LG embarks on a STM trip in the next 1-2 years, how can you contribute?

What can we learn from their examples?
